The optically variable splendor side of the gold holobar issued by the Bank of Taiwan (BOT) features the outer profile of Taiwan with the BOT’s logo inside Taiwan. Moreover, it radiates five-color rays and splendor from the centered BOT’s logo. The technique, using the reflection principle of different wavelengths’ laster light to make multi-color and anti-counterfeiting image, is called Hologram. In addition, the gold holobar of BOT has other anti-counterfeiting designs to be easily identified when redeemed, which can increase the niche of high circulation through bilateral transactions between buyers and sellers. The gold holobar of BOT was exquisitely packaged and embedded in the certificate of authenticity. Each certificate has an individual serial number which is the same as the number on the gold bar to certify the bar weighing 1 Taiwan Tael (37.5 grams) and containing 99.99% pure gold, and it was signed by the Director General of the Central Mint.
