As a symbol of ingenious and auspicious, the rabbit is woven into a background replete in a bountiful harvest of carrots. The intricacy of the carving demonstrates a year of abundance.

The observant rabbit raises her head to gaze into the distance symbolizing great expectations for the future: May the New Year fulfill your heart’s desires! The logo of Chunghwa Post and the Chinese characters reading “Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd.” and “Mintage Undertaken by the Central Mint” are engraved at the bottom.

Description

To welcome the arrival of the Year of the Rabbit, this Post has specially issued 580 pieces of the Bountiful Rabbit High Relief Copper Medal. Its theme derives from the Rabbit of the Chinese Zodiac. Also issued are 600 sets of the collectable set, each including a pair of fine silver ingots and 1 piece each of the pure gold ingot and high relief copper medal. This copper medal in a special limited-edition minting is a highly collectable artifact with a commemorative meaning.
