Description |
In the Republic of China’s (Taiwan’s) 16ᵗʰ-term presidential and vice presidential elections, Lai Ching-te was elected president and Hsiao Bi-khim was elected vice president. Chunghwa Post has issued 1,000 pieces of commemorative fine silver ingot. Its theme derives from the design of the souvenir sheet of The Inauguration of the 16ᵗʰ-term President and Vice President Commemorative Issue. Also issued are 520 sets of The Inauguration of the 16ᵗʰ-term President and Vice President Commemorative Set of Pure Gold Ingot and Fine Silver Ingot. Each set includes 1 piece each of the pure gold ingot and fine silver ingot. The latest laser micromachining and a unique casting method make for this ingot’s delicate bas-relief and background. This ingot in a special limited-edition minting is a highly collectable artifact with a commemorative meaning. |
