On the upper side are two latent Chinese phrases meaning "the country is prosperous and at peace “and "the people live in safety and happiness “overlapping to form the shape of a Ruyi. The face value “10 Yuan” in Chinses is inscribed with two latent images “Taiwan” and “plum blossom “inside the Arabic numeral 0. Turning the coin slightly to the left or right causes the two different sets of texts and figures to appear alternately. One embossed dot is also inscribed for blind people to distinguish. |
