Design features the image of geese flying over the world delivering mail in a circular field. Along the top edge are Chinese words reading " The 94th Year of the Republic of China. Along the bottom edge, Chinese words read "The 18th Asian International Stamp Exhibition."

Design features the logo of the exhibition, an image of the magnificent Taipei 101 Building flanked by outlines of stamps on a rectangular field with serrated edges like a stamp. Along the top edge of the face the words " 18th Asian International Stamp Exhibition" are engraved in English. The face value of 100 dollars is engraved below this, above the central design. The right bottom edge is engraved with "1oz." The left bottom edge reads " Ag999."

In honor of the 18th Asian International Stamp Exhibition held in Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, the Taipei 2005 Asian International Stamp Exhibition Commemorative Coin was produced in a special limited edition minting. This coin is legal tender although not minted for general circulation.
