2008 is the "Wu-Zih" Year of the Rat. The image of a rat mother and child eating peanuts together was designed and executed by Professor Chang Ker-chi. It symbolizes the highly prolific fecundity of the rodents and embodies the Chinese notion that the greater number of offspring a family has, the greater the wealth and blessing it will enjoy. |
