In Chinese culture, Peony, the king of flowers, stands for wealth, luck and well-being; the pine tree is the chief of trees symbolizing longevity and vitality. The tiger is gilded in 999.9 gold and the whole pattern is presented by elegant Chinese painting, increasing the value of collecting this silver coin. The outlines of Taiwan and Mount Yu, the highest mountain in Taiwan, are displayed and viewed within a rhombic latent image when turning the coin slightly to the right and the left respectively. |
