The upper field features two separate latent images. Rotating the face of the coin towards the right reveals the image of plum blossoms, and towards the left, the shape of the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei. Dr. Sun's own calligraphy of "The Great Commonwealth" is inscribed in Chinese characters in the middle of the field. |
